Technorati Buys Blogcritics.org

Blogcritics.org, an online community of bloggers offering news and reviews has announced that it has been acquired by blog search service Technorati.
Blogcritics became a part of the Technorati Media Network in June. Blogcritics said Technorati plans to grow the Blogcritics community, where over 2,000 bloggers contribute.

Google’s Blogger Service Sued In India

Google’s India subsidiary is being sued for alleged defamation in the Bombay High Court by an Indian Construction company.
Gremach Infrastructure Equipment & Projects Ltd wants Google to release the name of a person who criticized the company using Google’s blog service.

Southwest Airlines Launches Blog Competition

Southwest Airlines has launched a competition to find what it calls the next Blog-o-spondent for the company’s blog, Nuts About Southwest.
